   Trombone model- "Slokar" for Professionals
What distinguishes all master craftsman made trombones by Kuhnl & Hoyer:

Air tight, easy playing and above all noiseless valves, comfortable operating trigger and stable ball linkages are the top result of modern manufacturing techniques. The machine drawn slides are hand fit and tested for accuracy to ensure easy gliding in all positions. Hard-chrome-plated nickel silver inner slides promise a long lasting life.
All trombones have nickel-silver slide and are also available in open wrap

Bart Van Lier Trombones

Professional- Gold Lacquer
Excellent for Jazz, Pop, Salsa and Bigband.

In connection with Bart van Lier, solo trombonist of the
Metropole-Orchestra, permanent member of the Peter Herbolzheimer Big Band", Band Leader of the Bart's Bones", participated in International Trombone Association Workshops" in the USA and England and instructor for trombone at the Conservatories in Hilversum and Rotterdam (Netherlands), we have developed the Bb-Tenor Trombone ,,Bart van Lier" and Bart van Lier .500".

Trombonist Bart van Lier's evaluation of the Kuhnl & Hoyer Bb-Tenor Trombone ,,Model Bart van Lier":

"After a long period of development and testing together with me, Kuhnl & Hoyer has introduced an excellent trombone to the market, which is especially suited for Jazz, pop, salsa and big band and other musical forms, which have pronounced rhythm section. My own experience is that the drummer's cymbals can dampen the overtones of brass instruments. The trombone is particularly difficult to hear under these circumstances. That's why we have developed this instrument with a brighter tone than other trombones of the same size. The conical bore of the slide, in combination with the small bell, gives a compact tone. The bell, tuning slide, conical neckpiece and the lead pipe are made of a specially processed metal which produced extra warmth in the sound. This effect can be augmented by the use of a silver lead pipe. To broaden the tone, it is possible to substitute a larger bell.
Dynamic contrast and good
tone response are particularly to achieve on this instrument."

 182 11NZ - Model 500, bell diameter 7.087 in./180mm or 7.677 in./195mm

Single bore- .512 in. 13.0mm, brass, encl. nickel-silver slide

"The medium bore tenor trombone is the most popular bell-diameter since the nineteen fifties, for some trombone players, a small bore instrument does not give enough freedom to express themselves. The medium bore "Bart van Lier .500" from Kuhnl & Hoyer however, will be attractive for every tenor trombone player.
The tone of this instrument is a good mixture of roundness, warmth and brightness. Because of the light resistance, beginners will feel comfortable with this trombone right away. I like this trombone so much that i will use it in my professional playing together with my small bore instrument
